Michael P. Groom, Esq.
Mr. Groom is a graduate of Santa Clara University School of Law, where he received his Juris Doctor degree in 1970. He studied and received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara, in 1967. Upon admission to the State Bar of California in 1971, Mr. Groom joined the law firm of Miller, Morton, Caillat & Nevis, LLP as an associate and became a partner in 1976. Mr. Groom left Miller Morton in 1988 to found Groom & Cave, LLP.
Mr. Groom has focused his practice on providing legal advice to high net worth individuals and public and private businesses on commercial transactions of all kinds, including the purchase and sale of businesses and real estate transactions.
Beginning in 1980, Mr. Groom began representing wealthy individuals and companies in connection with the purchase, sale, financing, management, ownership and operation of new and pre-owned business aircraft. Since that time, Mr. Groom has become very well known among those involved in business aviation and has assisted clients in connection with hundreds of aviation related transactions by providing legal and tax advice on the structuring of such transactions for the benefit of our clients.
Mr. Groom has attained an AV rating from his peers and continues to be actively engaged in providing the highest quality legal services to our clientele.
